RE: Tire recommendation for Sprinter? (16 inch)

I'm watching here too. Currently have 63000 on 05 Sprinter with the LTX A/S I like the tire ,looks like I will get 70,000 easy. Talked to a Expeditor in Alaska this summer she got 70,000 out of her LTX A/S then switched to LTX M/S gets 90,000 miles a set now. She had over 340,000 miles now. Sounds like the BFG is great choice too.

RE: Real gas mileage with mercedes turbo diesel/Pleasure-way

Just got back from Alaska 11850 miles, 493 gallons of fuel= 24mpg. I have over 60,000 miles total average just over 21 mpg. Some owners on Sprintervan yahoo site are getting over 30mpg you just have to slow down.

RE: 288 nights in our LTV

What Next checking in, well we are in West Wendover NV I think, tomorrow I want to see Bonneville Salt Flats and Salt Lake City. Then it is pedal to the metal headed for home. To answer some questions 60,000 on Sprinter 200 miles or less is a nice day. Yes my wife is an angel for doing this we get along great or it wouldn't be possible. Got a little Gizmo dog along too he's great. As for what's next, I think the LTV will be around for quite awhile. Although I think a 5th wheel trailer or park model in Texas is in the future. We will spend much more time in Alaska next time. 3 weeks in Alaska and another 5 weeks taking the long way there and longer way back this time. Guess now that LTV Rally is back on we will be going back to Canada one more time this year.

288 nights in our LTV

Yes in the last 2years and 4 months we have been on the road and slept in the Sprinter LTV 288 nights. Still have a couple of weeks till we get home to IL, on the west coast now on our way back from Alaska. I love it. Is it worth it? I think so

RE: One hot bus bar! Update

Wow Roger. We had about the same thing happen . We where in LTV with everything going when we smelled plastic melting It was about the same as yours except the ground wire was touching the neutral bar. I replaced the the bar with a heavy duty marine one and had enough wire to cut off the burnt ends. We felt lucky. Wish I had pictures.

RE: Where do you store your Travasak?

On our power sofa LTV I pull the table section out then fold travasak in half then put sofa up and fold travasak in half again and lay across back of sofa. We store pillows behind sofa.

RE: Ages of People With Class B's

Darn close for me 58.6 the other half is younger. No wonder I felt like I fit in. Plus those B owners are all young at heart.

RE: For B Owners with Digital Televisions

Gene all I can tell you since my 2005 LTV already had a flat screen mounted before( analog) that I thought was very good is that it took about 10 minutes to replace it with a 19 inch HDTV, 2 inches bigger than old one. The reception is unbelievable!!!! A lot of the stations come in on the regular # then they also have # plus -1 and -2 and 3.

RE: Registration Now Open - B5 Rally May 16, 2008

Looks like a beautiful morning here, sun shining have a big breakfast to look forward to. We have met so many wonderful people, had just a fantastic time at the snatch bingo and auction last night. Boy I had some good prizes at snatch bingo, somehow I ended up with a mini potholder, at least it doesn't take up much room. Lots of great ideas here, everyone seems to like the swingaway diamond plate box I made for my sprinter. Barb Gizmo and I are having a great time I want to Thank the Sponsors and all those that put this together. Oh the parking lot has just about every class B made on display.

RE: B owners with air bag suspension???

Bill I think this is what you need dual controller My LTV has the single controler , I think they up graded now and use the double I think it would come in handy for that side to side leveling at campsite , also no bleeding over to other side going around corners although I don't notice that. I wish I could air up the bike tires and do van tires to. We are always adjusting pressure on the run.

RE: Help - macerator pump failed

Little out of your way but in Bozeman MT 800 877 9606 Big Sky RV might be able to help. Northern IL has two large Camper Worlds along your route but a long way away.
